Maybe that's what makes the movie so good. The great cast includes Monica Potter, Craig Bierko, Linda Halaska, Julianne Nicholson, Flora Martnez. The movie moves on like a dream and end leaving you wanting for more.
If you love watching Monica Potter or Craig Bierko, you are deffinetly going to want to watch I'm With Lucy.
After being unexpectedly dumped by her dream boyfriend, Lucy (Monica Potter, Along Came a Spider) wants to hide away in her apartment--but her friends set her up with a series of blind dates: a shy entomologist (John Hannah, Sliding Doors), a sensual playwright (Gael Garcia Bernal, Y Tu Mam Tambin), a hunky doctor (David Boreanaz, Angel), a self-centered baseball player (Anthony LaPaglia, Lantana), and a bickering businessman (Henry Thomas, All the Pretty Horses). We know she ends up marrying one of these five guys; trying to figure out which one, as the dates unfold in flashbacks, makes the movie engaging--up to a point. The script loses focus and Potter, though pretty, is too bland to sustain interest (though it should be said that she shows more flair in I'm with Lucy than in her previous romantic comedy efforts, such as the laughably bad Head Over Heels). --Bret Fetzer
